What are CMM Inspections?
A CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) inspection is a process where objects or products are inspected for quality and measured with high precision. A Coordinate Measuring Machine measures the dimensions and characteristics of an object, either at specific points in a 3D shape or across the entire shape. CMMs operate using three axes (X, Y, and Z), each contributing to accurate measurement and precise positioning for other precision machines.
CMM Inspections at MDT
At MDT, our state-of-the-art examination facilities enable us to meticulously inspect each product, a critical step in creating precision-engineered items. We cater to both small and large samples, ensuring comprehensive quality control.
CMM Capabilities
Our CMM inspection capabilities extend to various measurement aspects, including:
- Dimensional Measurement: The ability to measure multiple axes of an object to obtain its complete dimensions.
- Profile Measurement: CMMs can capture profile information and the form of both 2D and 3D objects.
- Angle Measurement: Easily measure the angles and orientation between different points on an object.
- Depth Measurement: Accurately map the depth of any object using two stereo images.
By leveraging our advanced CMM technology, MDT ensures that every product meets the highest standards of precision and quality.
